Volunteer Awards
Jason Wagner was a college sophomore when he first offered – perhaps naively – to help out as a contest sysadmin for the then-new site at Wilkes University. Twenty years later, he is still the sysadmin at one of Mid-Atlantic’s longest-hosting sites. He pioneered Mid-Atlantic’s switch to hosting the contest on a VM, and has always been quick to offer help to other sites in the region. When the Wilkes site-director was given local recognition, he responded with “thank you, but the person who really should be recognized is Jason Wagner”.
